Mediwrap High Protection Blankets or Critiwrap™:

· Ensure patients attain and retain normathermia, before, during and after surgery.
· Reduces the need for external heat sources in theatres

How to Use

· Wrap the patient fully in Mediwrap prior to entering theatre for surgery
· Cut an opening in the Mediwrap textile where patient access is required. Theatre drapes can be attached to the Mediwrap textile as required.
· Sterilise the operating area and conduct surgery
· After surgery, close the Mediwrap opening with tape
· Remove drapes. Removing tape from Mediwrap textile will not damage it
· Leave the patient wrapped in Mediwrap and take to recovery room
· Monitor patient temperatures throughout and you will see that normathermia is attained and
retained, speeding recovery optimally.
