SUGGESTED USAGE:

To ensure the patient is stable prior to transfer, the following steps should be undertaken before
transfer:

· Open Critibag™ fully and place on transfer trolley
· Attach spinal board to Critibag™ and place gel packs over, as required (spinal board and gel packs
not supplied)
· Open Critiwrap™ flat by opening Velcro at front and lower end
· Slide patient on,attach drains and other equipment as required, re-seal Velcro fastenings and
tighten drawstring around head opening. Attach head blocks (not supplied) as required. Secure
patient to spinal board
· Attach further drains and other equipment if needed by cutting Critiwrap™ and taping apertures
closed
· Close Critibag™ as shown
· Monitor patient prior to transfer.
