Examples of demand-led product development include Critiwrap® and Critibag® the culmination
of 18 months of research and development to yield the world's first single-use, low cost system of critical patient transfers.

Feedback from operating theatre staff led to a change in product appearance of MEDIWRAP® High Protection Blankets to reduce glare from theatre lights.

A need to assist nursing staff and operating theatre practitioners in the practical and comfortable movement of patients with the least disruption and without exposing the nursing staff to potentially dangerous acts of lifting the patient led to the design and manufacture of Flexislide a single use low cost patient transfer sheet.We are currently implementing a new Quality System to the ISO13485 standards which will result in obtaining accreditation to produce Sterilised products.
The production and use of Mediwrap Sterilised Products will be particularly applicable to hospital operating rooms in the UK and overseas.

MEDIWRAP® is now sold in many countries around the world, to hospitals, ambulance services, emergency planners, international aid agencies and the military.

In the UK, Mediwrap is an approved supplier to the National Health Service, Ministry of Defence, the Emergency Services, and most local authorities, the Royal National Lifeboat Institute. and the Royal Yachting Association. Mediwrap Limited sales marketing design and administration departments are based in Essex England. Production and distribution is from a modern factory and warehouse premises in Bristol England.
